I stayed up until about 12:30 last night, to watch his first set against taylor dent. it would have been earlier if it wasnt for the rain. when he went a break down, i wondered how he would cope. but then he showed fight by breaking straight back. when he was 5-1 up in the tiebreak. and it went to 5-4 he looked like he was going to blow it. until he won 7-4. then he won the 2nd set tiebreak 7-1. the guy as so much potential. he is the future of british tennis. and today safin needs to be alert or an upset will happen. taylor dent as now played murray twice and lost in straight sets twice.

I think that he has trmandous potential to get the #1 rank. He just needs to be consistent in his game and he will get very far.

i agree, i was so impressed with his results at wimbledon. however, people keep on comparing him to tim henman and greg rusedski.......i think he's very different from them in a sense that he's got more potential and that he's a good claycourter.
