This year is harder to pick winners from then ever before. Roger Federer didnt play too well in ohio last week. but he did win and beat andy roddick yet again. so something major is going to have to happen for him to get beat. roddick does have home advantage so that should help him slightly. in the womens draw im tempted to say kim clijsters because on the american hardcourt season. she has won 35 out of 36 matches. and last week thrashed henin 7-5 6-1 in the toronto final. problem she as is she chokes in big matches. that will more then likely happen again. but i will stick with clijsters to win her first slam.

yeah methinks Kim so far is the only one to win. Luckily, she has no injuries and plays a fabulous tennis. As for men, i just have a feeling that Roger won't win since there are players like Nadal and Roddick out there. I think Roddick will step up and improve the level of his game. Otherwise, so far the first rounds are quite exciting, especially the one where Gaudio was suprisingly defeated.

I like Gaudio... However, most other people I like are still in there, and as my favourite is Roger Federer I hope he wins it! ;D

i know feddie's the favorite to win, but i'm rooting for richard gasquet, i know it's a long shot, but hey! he's already made it to the 4th round, but he's playing way too many 5 setters

Richard got beaten by Blake last night, I would have liked to see Richard getting through, no offence to Blake. Top half of the draw gets decided today, it is getting excited! It's not always as you'd expect either so will not jump to any conclusions until they have all been played!

Anyone else see Coria v Ginepri? Edge of the seat stuff or what? I'm sorry Coria lost (one of my faves) but did he jump or was he pushed?

Kim thoroughly deserved her victory - well done to her! I know she's been through so much, so it's good to see a happy ending for her! Only an hour to go and I will be cheering on Roger! ;D
